Dr. Patricia Chiu received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University Dental School. Upon graduating at the top of her dental school class, Dr. Chiu was accepted into the prestigious University of Michigan Orthodontics Program, where she received three years of specialty training and a post-doctoral Master of Science degree. In 2001, she returned to Boston where she grew up to begin her orthodontic career.
As a firm believer in evidence-based treatment, Dr. Chiu participated in research projects in dental and orthodontic schools. In September of 2005, she co-authored an article that was published in a major orthodontics journal, the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Dr. Chiu is an active member of many leading dental and orthodontic organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and the Northeast Society of Orthodontists.

When not taking care of her patients, Dr. Chiu cherishes spending time with her husband and young daughters, Avery and Audrey. She is an avid reader, has a keen interest in architecture, and has visited almost twenty countries.
